Modelling: Polygon Limits
After modelling a high-poly car for MM2, Riva came to the conclusion that there is virtually no limit to the number of polygons a vehicle's model can have--the game is only limited by a computer's specifications and hardware.

However, a different kind of limitation exists: the game does not support a high concentration of polygons in models. In a car he exported with 60k verticies and 70k polygons, there were problems due to the extremely concentrated detail in the interior.

Riva also came up with a compelling solution for this problem:

Anyway a solution exist, detach these details from the main parts of the car, then assign them as detachable parts, finally set the car as unbreakable, it will work.

However these parts won't have any reflections so you must remove them (I mean all reflections) from MM2 CTK (Shaders editor).
